The role of the Director of Experiential Education Initiatives will be to assist the Vice President of Academic Affairs on all experiential education related matters.  This position includes meeting with designated members of administration, as well as being a student representative in faculty-based committees.  To that end, the Director of Experiential Education Initiativeswill have the responsibility to:

• Sit on the Academic Affairs Committee;
• Oversee initiatives with a focus on experiential education;
• Attend Undergraduate Research Extravaganza Committee meetings;
• Attend Experiential Education breakfasts; and
• Report back to the Vice President and the Academic Affairs Committee discussions and decisions of committees that the Director attends.

Due to the nature of this position, the Director of Experiential Education Initiatives must dress in business casual attire when attending meetings and be prepared to speak in a professional manner.

All meetings attended will be at the discretion of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.  The Director of Experiential Education Initiatives will serve a term that ends at the conclusion of Summer I, and can be removed if he or she fails to perform the duties of the Director of Experiential Education Initiatives.  Should he or she be removed prior to the end of the term, applications will re-open and another Senator may be appointed.
