MembershipChair: Michael Spinella, Vice President for Financial AffairsVice-Chair: [Vacant] Senators: AboutThe Renewable Energy Initiative Committee was started by collaboration with Student Government Association (SGA) Husky Energy Action Team (HEAT), Students for Environmental Action (SEA), and Resident Student Association (RSA).The Renewable Energy Fund is an Optional fund any student may contribute to. These funds will be utilized for a Renewable Energy Project on campus, which can include (solar panels, wind turbines, etc). The Committee is responsible for choosing a viable project for the campus this fall and will begin to motivate students to contribute to this specific project. The University has agreed to match what students contribute to this project as a joint effort to make our Northeastern campus more sustainable. Student ContributionIf you are interested in contributing to the Renewable Energy Fund please log into myNEU then click NUpay and select "Renewable Energy Fund". From here students can contribute increments of $10 to contribute to this fund. |
