Deadlines

All Program Requests must be submitted by their specified deadlines, as determined by the size of the program. This allows an appropriate amount of time for groups to process contracts, prepare for unexpected setbacks, and properly promote the event.

For organizations to be scheduled to present to the BRC, all aspects of a program request (including all quotes and signatures) must be recieved prior to 5pm the prior Wednesday.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I submit a program after the deadline has passed?

Per section 6.2 of the SAF manual, "Any organization may petition the VPFA to submit a program request after the above deadlines have passed, provided there is justification that the request COULD NOT be submitted prior to the appropriate deadlines. There is no guarantee for funding for any request submitted after the deadlines."
Presently, the BRC does work under a monthly budget. Once the money for that month has been allocated, the BRC cannot allocate additional funds for a program that month. The 6-week is a good rule to get programs in for funding.

Can I submit a program before the deadlines?

Per section 6.2 of the SAF manual, "organizations that require extensive preparation time for a program may petition the VPFA to submit a request more than ten weeks prior to the program date, provided the organization provides justification for the additional time"

Program Size and Deadlines

Program size is based on the amount of funding requested:

LARGE: Above $15,000
MEDIUM: Between $5,000 and $15,000
SMALL: Under $5,000

Quick Fixes

A Student alerted Amanda Sabia, VP of Academic Affairs, that a 3-hole punch in the library was misaligned.  Amanda told her contact at the library and the 3-hole punch was adjusted later that day.
